Lightning Entertainment has sold several territories for the dramedy "The Trouble With Bliss," starring Michael C. Hall, Lucy Liu, Peter Fonda, Brie Larson and Chris Messina.
Lightning has sold all rights to Shock Entertainment for Australia and New Zealand; video, VOD, internet, mobile and ancillary rights to Epcott for Japan and pay TV rights to HBO Eastern Europe and HBO Latin America.
"Bliss" is directed by Michael Knowles, who co-scripted with Douglas Light.
Hall plays a 35-year-old man-child who still lives at home, but finds himself falling into a romantic relationship with the precocious 18-year-old daughter of a friend, portrayed by Larson.
The film was released theatrically in the U.S. earlier this year through Variance Films after playing the festival circuit.
Deals were negotiated by Lightning's Mathilde Epstein and Alexandra Cocean.
